Activity 3: Looking at my writing.


Education is more than a word, it is not a pattern that has to be followed, it is a big responsibility for teachers and it is the best way to answer the doubts that students have about their uncertain future.  Nowadays the necessities of students go beyond than to learn a couple of words in the second language since they need to feel confidence on all the aspect in life and need to be well prepared since the present is the power of the future.  The past and the new education have similitude since in the past the syllabus were taken in only one context, for instance if Ss learnt a word they believed that the use of it would be the same in all parts, also Ss have respect to their professors and believed in them in a hundred percent, today we are in the same way, the education is directed to learn in some specific patterns in life, that is what we can modify to provide what students expect to be confident. Nowadays a book is the most important resource that a teacher has since it facilitates the teaching practice, but it has to be taken as  a support that doesn’t have to be considered with the weight that has been taken,  one of the most important parts in teaching is planning since it is crucial in the teaching practice, it has to be considered as a reflective practice since in it exists many important aspects, a teacher has to think if the lesson is going to be useful, and the impact in learning it will have, it doesn’t have to be humdrum. Nowadays books are standardized since they have the same activities and have been influencing the life of people as the TV programs, and it can be compared as McDonald because it has standardized around the world the burgers are similar in every part of the globe where MacDonalds exist. An English program needs to be analyzed to with the finality to create critical thinkers, not only an amount of people able to fill gaps or answer true or false questions, what a program has to be focus in the shaping of the future as we would like to be. A future curriculum in language teaching has different steps like: coherence, significant content, decision making in class, use of students intelligent, cultural understanding and critical language awareness. As second language teachers have the opportunity to shape the future of our students. If we want to nurture our students we have to feed them with the nutrients they need to face their future.
